TIP for tat: Stay focused!

On Friday night I went to Senor Frogs for the first time in life. It was my friend's birthday celebration so I had to step out of the house. It was a lot of fun. Loud. But a lot of fun. I didn't drink but I woke up Saturday morning feeling hungover. I guess that's old age catching up with me. Dinner was suppose to be at 8:30 but we didn't even get seated til 9:50pm because they lost her reservation. Crazyness so by then I was STARVING. There wasn't many healthy options so I did my best. I got a BBQ chicken wrap. It was yummy. However there were a heaping of fries on the side that I devoured and also she brought cheesecake from Juniors in New York. I couldn't say no to that. I mean Junior's is supposedly famous for their cheesecake. So I had a few bites. The picture of the cake is what I didn't eat :). I mean after I killed my fries I couldn't eat all the cake. See better decision making. 




I spent the weekend in Miami with my mommy. It was a quick less than 48hr trip but I enjoyed it. Nothing like mother daughter time. 

Got back early yesterday morning and was pretty much tired all day from waking up and driving back at 5 in the morning. I felt not so great but a big cup of tea and soup helped and then I headed to the gym. Last week of phase 1 of Livefit Trainer. 




I came home and made the chocolate protein bars. I really liked them. Reminded me of brownies! Yum yum. 2 bars is 96 calories. Nom nom nom. For the recipe click here. Oh and I used Xylitol instead of Splenda and apple and blueberries as well as pears and blueberries baby food :)!

Tip Tuesday: Stay Focused.



Every morning look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing to get or stay healthy and fit. Say a mantra. Do whatever you have to do to stay focus on your fitness goal. It helps, trust me.

    1. Ohhhh Zumba! Fun! I have done zumba in months but it's always fun trying to keep up!

  2. Mmm I think I'm going to try out those chocolate protein bars tonight with some applesauce since I don't have any baby food!
