Fireworks, Homework, & Reminiscing [Week recap].

This time last year I was getting ready to head to the airport to go on the trip of my life. I went to Europe for the 1st time last year to celebrate my 25th birthday (My birthday is the 11th for those who asked!). It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back overseas! This time this year I'm spending my days stuck behind computers either doing work or homework. How things have changed.

Been a busy week. Work = stress. Grad school = stress.
I have a major program due on Monday and I am so lost. Bah humbug. I hope I can figure it out between today and tomorrow and not be able to kill myself on Monday. I should have started it last week but waited until this week like a dummy.

So I decided to join in on this Instagram (follow me @ sincerelypresh) July fitness challenge. It's my first photo a day challenge. I'm trying to keep up. So far so good. You should join in too. Not too late!!

Wednesday night me and Jay  (Le boyfriend), had date night. We went to see the new Kevin Hart movie: Let Me Explain. Well let me explain, it was funny. HOWEVER. I thought Laugh at my pain was funnier but in the end I still had a good ol time.  Let's not talk about how a STUDENT ticket is $10.50.

Thursday morning I woke up bright and early and went to the Watermelon 5k with my Black Girls Run! sisters. Instead of running, we decided to switch it up and volunteer. It was fun and interesting to be on the other side quenching the masses thirst and cheering them on instead of running right on by almost ripping someone's arm of for water. Side note: I stop when I get to water stations if I plan on grabbing water. Drink the water and then start back running. I know people who almost drown themselves trying to down the water while going 50 miles per hour.  After we finished manning water station #1 at mile marker 1 we walked that mile back to the start line when festivities was happening and to get us some yummy watermelon! It would have been illegal not too go get watermelon at a Watermelon 5K. We were told our station was the best because we were so loud and hype and encouraging. We even ran one of the last run/walkers coming through our station in.

Then thursday night. Another semi date night. I was so representing for my country!

We went to the festivities at this mall. It's really nice. A mini carnival with music and vendors. Ended up getting some free movie screening tickets and tickets to a concert! While there I also ate some goodies. The funnel cake was his but I grabbed a couple pieces. I was so excited to get a screwball though. It was like my favorite as a child!

The fireworks show was also really nice. I'm glad we didn't get rained out!

Anywho that is all. I'm about to hit up the gym. Back/Rear delts & Cardio. I hope it's not too hot. Ugh. I went to sleep at 2am (doing hw) and couldn't wake up earlier than 9ish. After my gym session it will be back to the books. Wish me luck. Have a great weekend :).

Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook?
-I think IG and Twitter for me.

I don't go to the movies. I like being able to pay my mortgage instead. LOL
