I have got to be more careful.

I can be careless. Back in college, I use to religious lose my wallet. Thank God I've gotten better at that. However, yesterday after I finished my workout I heading back into the locker room to get my gym bag and there sitting on the counter was my debit card. Holy cow! It must have dropped on the ground when I was changing and someone nicely picked it up and put it there and no one stole it. Thank you God because I wouldn't have noticed until at least tomorrow. People are nice. I have got to be more careful.

I was (and still am) so sore. My legs are in painnnnn. More so my hammies. But I am working them again today - like about to head out now. Got to keep these thangs strong. I mean I do need them for running purposes.

Speaking of running, guess what I did yesterday on National Running Day!!?! No, I didn't run. But I did sign up for two half marathons! One of which may be my first half mary. I am so nervous. Originally my first half was going to be the ING in February 2014 (already signed up) but I think this fall is when I will (and now kind of have too since paid for and all) conquer my first half marathon.  The two I signed up for are Allstate Ft. Lauderdale and Women's Running St Pete!  November 10th & 24th respectively. I will start officially training once I finish Livefit in August! I'm excited.

Yesterday I was the feature story for Black Women Losing Weight. You can read my story here. It was so great to be able to tell my story and it made me really fell inspiring! The post my before and after pic on their facebook fan page and I got over 10K likes O_O. That's crazy to me.  Like over 10K people have now seen my before and after pic. Un-freaking-believable.

that would be my life's joy.

Do you have any non scale victories?!
What's on your agenda for today?

  8. So inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing! Sorry it took me so long to reply to you linking up! I was finally able to fix the issue and the linkup will be good to go on my blog again this thursday :)

P.S. I used to lose my debit card all the time! In college I had the horrible habit of putting the card in my pocket and it would inevitably fall out somewhere. I have no idea how many replacements I had to get before learning to keep the thing in a wallet!
