Shopping at ikea is like returning to therapy.

Happy Father's Day!
to the fathers, the daddies, those acting as fathers, those playing both roles as mother & father. You are appreciated.
 Happy Sunday!

I had a great Saturday. A little bit of yoga, a little bit of love, a little bit of ice cream.. all so much fun.

On Friday, I finished my last workout of Livefit Trainer Phase 1. 1 phase down, 2 more to go.

I worked my shoulders and abs hard on Friday too.

I mean it may had something to do with the fact that I knew I was having pizza last night. Yeah see Pizza hut had this deal. Large pizza for $5.55 to celebrate their anniversary. Now c'mon. I'm not saying no to that. So I planned a movie and pizza night for me and le boyfriend. It was great. I convinced him to watch Spirit of the Marathon with me. I hadn't heard about this movie until a couple weeks ago when someone told me about the 2nd one that premiered for one night only on Wednesday. I wasn't able to go but was told the 1st one was on Netflix. So I had to check it out. Can you say inspiring and awesome! I can't wait to cross that finish line one day and become a marathoner. Ahhh I can taste it.

I woke up at 8:37am saturday and said, "I'm going to yoga." I had 33 mins to eat something small, get ready, and make it there in time. I made it. So glad I did. Just what I needed. My favorite part by far is lying on the floor and just relaxing and letting everything leave your body.

Afterward yoga, I headed home to eat a good breakfast and then I had to meet up with some running buddies to discuss our Marathon relay in December. It's the Fl Storm Series Palm Beach Marathon on Dec. 8. I'm doing the longest and last leg. 7.9 miles. ^_^. By then I hope I'm running a solid 9 min mile. 8:45 if I'm lucky.

My future Fl Storm Series Medal. It's huge.

Next stop was the store I hate the most but sometimes find necessary to visit. IKEA. Blah. I hate that store. LOL. Until I'm rich enough to go and just point out what I want and have someone else put everything together, I will continue to hate it lol. But I needed a few things mainly a dresser but ending up getting everything else but that. Only cause it was storming bad and we felt it wouldn't be a great idea trying to go out into the rain with that heavy thing. So I ended up getting some new mixing bowls, frying pans, more tupperware (all this food prep), timer, batteries, and an umbrella (I said it was storming).

The one on the left or the right? Same price. I think I like right more.

By the time we left, I was starving so we stopped by Pollo Tropical to get me some of my fav grilled wings. I love these things.

By the way anyone else turn into a monstaaa when they're hungry? Like if I don't eat every 4 hours, watch out. My BF hates it. He tries to make sure I stay fed. :-/ I can't help it. I'm honnnnggrrrryyyy.

After that was grocery shopping and I picked up some amazing vanilla soft serve ice cream with strawberries and oreos. OMGawd. It was delicious.

Then of course before heading home for the night we got the Pizza.

& I had to stop by Target to stock up on my Larabar obsession.

So yes. Yesterday was a success. It was a good day.

IKEA. Love it or hate it?

If you've ran a marathon, one word to describe the way you felt the first time you crossed the finish line.

If you haven't ran one, do you aspire to?

  1. IKEA - love and hate it. I really need to be in the right frame of mind to get through a shopping trip there. and it is really tough.
