I'm so excited to be able to EAT real food tomorrow! Yummy yum yum! Especially since I'm having spaghetti squash for dinner. I love spaghetti squash. Best thing I discovered last year! As it goes for my 3 - day green smoothie detox, today has been okay. Did I deviate? Unfortunately yes. I had some almonds and raisins. Sorry guys my will power failed me. But in my defense, it was emotional eating because I can't workout. :( I know, terrible right?!
Lesson of the day: listen to your body. I am constantly having to reiterate this to myself. Once you get use to working out often (and on average I workout six days a week) you get upset when you can't. It's an itch you want to scratch and you can't. Every since yesterday my hipbone has been hurting. Yesterday I still workout on it but couldn't do certain moves full force because it was hurting. So today I worked from home and iced it for an hour (will ice it again tonight) and had to have a talk with myself.
Precious, let you body heal and rest. I know you have this run (or walk) at least a mile a day challenge, and burpee challenge, and Insanity (my goodness girl) but hey if you want to fracture something keep going ... if not you better rest that behind!
So this is me resting. I do plan to do some yoga stretches in a few but that should help not hurt me! Besides I need my hip to be feeling better by tomorrow because I have a 5K to run saturday morning and would like to go for a run on Friday. So keep your fingers cross that I wake up with my hip feeling better tomorrow!
