You musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

It's my 100th post!! Welcome to the partayyyyyy!!

Cori over at Olive to Run did this a couple weeks ago and I thought in honor of my 100th post I'd do it too.

1. Five Fitness Items I Can’t Live Without:
My running apps (until I get my garmin next month - bday gift to myself!)
My Nike Air Pegasus running shoes

Water - is that an item? I'm claiming it to be
Bondi Bands - Love them keeping my sweat in tack

Deorderant (helps with my rubbing thighs - I just ordered body glide though)

2. Favorite pre-workout snack/meal:

Piece of toast with nut butter and bananers.
Solo dolo banana.
Apple.

3. On my fitness bucket list:
Like most runners to qualify for the Boston Marathon but I have a ways to go until that happens. So first up is to actually do a half mary which will happen this fall!!
Shortly after that, run a race in another state.
Another country would be even more awesome.

4. Must-have tech tools:
I love my HRM though I haven't been using it much.
My phone because it supplies my music and running apps.
I so want a garmin! I can't wait. Can't decide which I want. Suggestions?!
Wireless headphones. Want. Don't have yet.

5. Top exercise gear:
Love my Nike Air Pegasus but want to try out some Brooks and see the hype!
I am recently in love with Old Navy active line.
I have about 6 pairs of their shorts and love them.
I love shorts with built in undies and secret pockets.
My favorite sports bra are my Marika Keyhole Sports Bra. I got it on a steal thanks to Groupon. So so comfy & also my nike one that I have had forever and it hasn't stretched out one bit!
I love semi flowy dri fit tanks with cute sayings.

6. Motivational mantra:
I recently came across this and love it.

Another one I love.

7. Next big exercise goal:
To do 20 regular push ups.
1 unassisted pull up.
Try a barre class.
Run 13.1 miles.
Complete my first half mary in November.
Followed by my 2nd half mary 2 weeks later. ^_^

8. Favorite cardio exercise:
I am pretty sure this is a trick question. I do what crazy ppl do, run. But we all know this is really the truth about me.

9. Favorite strength move:
I don't think I have a real FAVORITE but I don't mind squats. For perfect bootay purposes.

10. What would you say is your biggest fitness accomplishment thus far?
Losing over 100lbs why of course.
Coming in 1st in my age group in my 2nd 10K race.

This entire post is my NSV for the week.
This & running 5.3 miles on Friday :)

  2. Congratulations on you 100lbs weight loss! That's amazing.

I like the Yoga Meltdown. I'm not good with all the relaxation of real yoga, so this pumps it up a bit.

Love the ON active line. I wish I had gotten one of those Run, Rest, Repeat tanks before they sold out.

  3. Get it girl! I love the Old Navy active stuff and was looking for the "run, rest, repeat" tank but it was sold out :( I LOVE bondi bands. They soak up sweet and keep all my hair in place, especially now that it's shorter!

  6. Congrats on your 100th post! I think I prefer Zumba over running. Please don't snitch on that.

I haven't tried the Old Navy fitness line yet.
